Resources for Adults with Down Syndrome
DSAA provides resources and services to the community across the lifespan. This means we are acutely aware of the new set of opportunities and challenges that accompany adulthood for individuals with Down syndrome.
The resources below are what we time and time again recommend for our adult population and their support systems— parents, family, friends, caregivers, professionals, and practitioners— so that they can thrive as an adult in the setting best suited to their needs.
We are also pleased to share the new GLOBAL Medical Care Guidelines for Adults with Down Syndrome from Global Down Syndrome Foundation. This resource is both for self-advocates/families and clinicians alike.
If you have further questions after viewing the provided resources, please contact us at: info@dsaatl.org
