  • IEP Toolkit

Created by Gretchen H. Carroll, MA, of the Jane and Richard Thomas Center for Down Syndrome Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, this IEP toolkit is designed to help families of children with Down syndrome become knowledgeable, prepared, and empowered partners in the IEP process.

  • Educator Outreach

This initiative provides information and support to school personnel who work with students with Down syndrome. DSAA welcomes educators to be DSAA Education Liaisons to serve as representatives for their school system as well as a liaison between DSAA and local schools. Liaisons can request someone from the DSAA speakers bureau to speak to their school and receive other supports as needed.

Anyone who is employed by a school system and working with students who have Down syndrome is welcome to become an Education Liaison.
