Our Financial Assistance is designed to provide temporary relief to DSAA families in urgent need. It's important to note that this is not a long-term solution. If your application is approved, the assistance is a one-time occurrence. The Financial Assistance Committee will review your completed form and provide a decision within 7-10 business days. Please ensure your form is complete to avoid automatic denial.
Assistance approval is based on Funds availability.
Applicant must be a parent or caregiver of a person with Down syndrome.
No cash given to applicants.
Check(s) will be made payable to the vendor.
Assistance will only be provided for ONE need (Food, Utilities, or Mortgage/Rent).
If this assistance does not bring your mortgage/rent account to the current, it will not be given.
Maximum assistance will not exceed $250.
We can provide you with support and resources for other programs, but unfortunately, we can’t fill out any forms for you.
